Goodbye Miss, Hello Mrs.

A Dash Of Cold

I’ve been doing a lot more gaming than I care to admit for the last few weeks. (Only because sometimes I feel very unproductive afterwards.) Anyway, I finished up my Mass Effect play through, which I LOVED. I have always been a fantasy RPG girl, and I think that’s mostly because any Sci-Fi book I picked up was fifteen pages of back story, strange races, and weird names I couldn’t get the hang of. (Tom says this is the exact reason he dislikes Fantasy, and after I thought about that, I laughed because it’s true.) Anyway, Tom presented Mass Effect to me as a “space RPG”, which got me very excited, and from the moment I picked it up I loved it. But I must say, when we finished the first game and booted up Mass Effect 2, the improvements were incredible. I would go on, but I’ll end this geek talk by simply saying it’s been a lot of fun.

These babies are almost done. Holes are forming in the back and the buttons are drooping. But I enjoyed them while they lasted!

We’re goobers.

I’m creating flash cards based of Dr. Heisig’s, Remembering The Kanji in yet another way to utilize my iPod.

Oh boy! This movie turned out to be a lot more enjoyable than we thought it was going to be. We weren’t going to see it, basically because the trailer made it seem like a retelling of Disney’s Pocahontas, but what do you know, it was good! (It was still Disney’s Pocahontas, but the acting/animation was quite good so it was worth it.)

I am so pathetic when it comes to hot drinks. For at least a year I’ve been TRYING my hardest to like tea. (Mostly because of the health benefits.) But it usually sits there until it’s about lukewarm and then I force it down so I’m not wasting it. But lately I’ve been doing all right. So we picked up some HUGE mugs to celebrate.

Though I love my awesome owl mittens and new coat, when we go grocery shopping I sport my old coat and fingerless gloves/mittens combo so I can easily carry the groceries home.

We finally started receive the snow storm everyone else was receiving. After a few days of on and off snowing and melting it’s finally stuck!

I just discovered this blog a few weeks ago and it’s feels like half the time I’m reading something I wrote! We have so many interests and quirks in common. I realize how cheesy that sounds but it’s weirrrrd.

Can I order a print of the last one? Let me know how much for an 11 X 14 or an 8 x 10.
