Autumn Riding (Part I)

Whoops! I forgot to post yesterday! And it was magical Monday! That doesn’t actually mean anything, I just like to post on Mondays because personally I like a lot of updates so that I can rummage through all week. But wow, now that the wedding photos are over, what on earth do I blog about? I mean that not in that I don’t know what to post, but more that I have so much to share, I don’t know where to start! (You’re saying, “Uh, IRELAND?”) And then I say, “Oh yeah!” But I have a few posts from my time in Michigan that I want to share first. Because I am a little obsessive in that I like things to be in order and organized, I feel I have to cover the few posts from Michigan before I go into Ireland.

My sisters are in love with horses, and have been for several years. So for the first time I was able to photograph them while out riding. (I’ve always wanted to photograph people riding horses!) But as it turns out, I was only able to take a handful before I was roped onto riding with them. (Twist my arm.) So today I’ll share the photos I took, and then I’ll share the photos my husband (swoon) took while I was riding, bless his heart.

Aww, I remember using a mounting block back in the day. <3 It's been a few years since I was short enough to need that though!
