The Whisketeers

Paws In Adventure

Hi everyone,

This is my first blog post. I know I’m a bit young to be using the computer, but Morn showed me how to use the camera yesterday and so I decided to go a little adventure with it. I want to be a great adventurer when I grow up, but since I’m a little young now I pretend that this spot is my tree fort. Everyone else in the house is too big to fit and it’s easy for me to see out the window or plan my next great adventure.

I struggled with the self timer at first but once I got it working I got some nice shots.

Speaking of adventures, a few weeks ago when I was exploring I accidentally managed to singe my whiskers in a candle fire. Can you tell in the photo? Sara says it makes me look like a wild explorer, and that of course makes me less self conscious about it.

Here is Morn on Sara’s computer chair. I’m not sure where Sara was. Usually it’s where she works.

This is Sara’s water jar. (It has my name on it, but you can’t see it.) She uses it to make sure she drinks enough water in the day. I like the big straw, but I’m not allowed to chew on it.

Morn sleeping. After I took this I had to put the camera down because it’s quite heavy. And then I decided Morn just looked too soft and cozy and that it would be a good time to take a nap.

I hope you do some exploring of your own this weekend and take lots of photos of the things that interest you. Feel free to share some photos in the comments, I’d love to see them.

Farewell & Adventure On,
Your Friend
Atlas the Explorer

My kitty Marlo singed her whiskers in the candle flame, too! She was off balance all night, running into things and falling on her face. You silly kitties. Be careful!

Loving the post – love curious cats, like little humor creatures that purr, pounce and play peekaboo!

Hi Atlas! Nice to formally meet you! I think you will be a great explorer – and every good journey requires a few dings – or singes. Looking forward to seeing more of you and your adventure! 🙂

Atlas has the most engaging eyes. They are so big and brown. I have never seen a cat with brown eyes. I am guessing it is uncommon?

I love the third photograph down, btw.
