Reminisce – Film Style Actions

For those of you that visit this blog for reasons unrelated to photo-processing (HI!) I apologize in advance for postponing the Spurred project to announce this release. For those of you that have been patiently waiting the last few months for the film actions- The wait is over! I’m happy to release Reminisce, a collection of 22 Film Style Actions (11 Subtle Film Styles & 11 Potent Film Styles), 6 Essentials Actions, and 3 Bonus Helper Actions. On Thursday of last week I decided I promised some of you I’d have them out by Christmas and I really wanted to keep that promise. So I’ve been glued to Photoshop ever since, but I wouldn’t rest until I felt everything was as perfect as it could be. I am positively in love with this collection and have been using it every day (as you’ve probably noticed), and I hope you love it as much as I do. You can visit the Reminisce page for more details and a slightly goofy video mini-tour of the action set.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks for another magnificent post. Where else could anyone get that kind of info in such an ideal way of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such info.

great job — these look amazing!

also, so fun to hear your voice on your video! i’m kind of obsessed with accents — are you from the northern part of the midwest? like michigan or wisconsin? i know you’re in canada right now… but i just had to ask.

(i’m going to be really embarrassed if you say you’re from mississippi or something. ha!)

Okay, I feel I should preface my comment with the fact that I am a child at heart and I still love magic tricks to this day and I never want to know how it’s done.

I’M FROM MICHIGAN, HOW DID YOU KNOW!? I can’t believe you nailed that so well! Majorly impressed over here. =)

Soooo I responded to you via twitter just now but I reread your comment here and uh… maybe that was too much info! Ack! But still, cute accent. 🙂

Ahhh, I have been waiting for these! So exciting! They’re so beautiful. I showed my mom, who has never quite acclimatized to digital, and she thought they were awesome.

As soon as my paypal transaction clears…

I’m so glad to hear that, Joy! I tried really hard to capture the beauty and mood of lots of film styles out there- I’m glad your mom liked them! Have fun playing with them! ❤
