Morn, my eldest cat, has taken to running away with my camera sometimes. He’s been having so much fun lately that he asked me to share some of his photos and notes with you. I enthusiastically agreed, and thus Morn will be making occasional appearances on this blog to update you on his adventures. And without further ado, I turn it over to my darling cat.
a note from Morn
Hello readers of my person! My name is Morn, obviously, and I’m fat and lazy. But I like to take pictures of things I like. And that includes my best friend Paddington, who is a mouse. And sometimes of Pumpkin, except, if you ask me, he’s kind of slow. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my adventures, and don’t forget to say hello!

I leave it there in case I want some later. Paddy doesn’t like it too much though.
my paws
This is my favorite place to sleep. Paddy likes it too.

Paddington likes the view, so sometimes I scoot over so he can see out the window.
NOT REAL!
Don’t be fooled, friends. This isn’t a real hamster, (Do you think I’d stop to take his picture?) but it’s some toy that my people brought home for me to play with. I’m not sure what they expect, but only a fool would think this obviously stuffed animal was real! (Paddy agrees with me completely, by the way.)

16 Jan 2010 at 1:10 pmHey! This is sorta unrelated, but I noticed you’re using FontBurner in this entry and wanted to know if you’ve noticed the text being unreadably small on a Mac? I guess that would all depend on whether or not you have a Mac in the house. Anyway, I tried FontBurning my blog a while back, but Chris said the text came up real small on his monitor. Super weird.
Also, I love Morn and have been wondering– Where did he get his name from?

17 Jan 2010 at 1:57 pmI’ve checked with two different Mac users and they said it’s nice and big- maybe they updated FontBurner. You can also try Dynamic Font Replacement, which I also have installed and I think I might like it better than Font Burner because you can make custom tags instead of only have your h1-h4 tags. I just didn’t want to convert fonts at the time.
Here’s the link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dynamic-font-replacement-4wp/
Also, Morn is technically named after a character in a story I wrote, but the character was named after my love for the stillness of mornings and morning light. =]

16 Jan 2010 at 2:27 amOh, Morn, you are a handsome boy <3
It's so cute to see other cats with their toys. Our tortie Miko has a stuffed groundhog that she's been totally attached to for over 5 years.

17 Jan 2010 at 2:36 pmWhy thank you! Though I must inform you that Paddington is a real mouse, not stuffed!
I’d be interested in meeting Miko!

15 Jan 2010 at 8:18 pmAt Cracker Barrel, we have little hamsters like that… but they take a few batteries and run all over the floor. Would Morn like one of those? 🙂

15 Jan 2010 at 8:35 pmWell, that’s really nice of you! Perhaps I could send you something in trade. A nice print to hang on your wall perhaps? And, since I understand you’re a people and you might not find any of MY photos interesting enough to hang on your wall, I’m sure my person would off you one of hers.
At least she better.
