There are Coldstone X Tim Horton’s stores around here in Columbus, but their ice cream (as with most dairy that comes from hormone-treated/antibiotic pumped cows) doesn’t do nice things to me. Which is sad, because I love love love their cake batter ice cream.

At the same time though, I’m okay with it. It gives me the perfect excuse to frequent Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, who makes all their ice cream from Snowville Creamery milk and cream (the same local dairy I buy my milk from). Not to mention getting to enjoy delicious flavors like Wildberry Lavender and Mackenzie Creamery Goat Cheese with Roasted Red Cherries that just plain don’t exist elsewhere. Nom. <3

We saw Toy Story 3 for my birthday! I cried twice.

I wonder if our Tim Horton’s will be doing that or if it’s just in Canada? I do love Coldstone, but they are so pricey and there are a million locally owned ice cream places around here that we usually go to.

We don’t really have Cold Stone in my town. I am not sure if they are elsewhere in the state. We had some Marble Slabs around town, but only for a short time. I’m pretty sure they came and went within a year. Very sad. We have a couple Bruster’s and a Baskin Robbins and that’s about the extent of the ice cream business.

I just saw Toy Story 3 in 3D the other week, too! Did you cry much? I have to admit, I was chokin’ ‘em back real bad during certain moments. Even the Day/Night mini had me on the verge of tears!

Also, just wanna chime in and say that your very first photo isn’t working for me, either, but I can see all the rest. It just has that little Flickr placeholder that says the photo is currently unavailable.

Almost none of your photos are showing up for me. I’m not sure what’s wrong…it may be my computer or work internet blockages… *sadpanda*

Anywho, we loved Toy Story 3 and came to the realization that our two favorite movies of 2010 are this one and How to Train Your Dragon (the best 3D film yet, we think). It’s funny because Scott told me he wouldn’t have gone to either of them if it weren’t for me, but I love animated movies so much we had to.

Also: I miss Coldstone. <3

I love Coldstone but every store around here is closing and several of my friends in other cities have said the same thing. That means we just have to stick with Marble Slab, which is just as delicious.

ahh, i want to see toy story 3 so much but it’s not out in the uk until later in the month -_- not much 4th celebration going on here… we were going to do something but half the family is away at a competition so i think i might persuade them when they get back to go off one night on the land and set off some fireworks (when it finally stops raining!)
