Frozen Hot Chocolate

I find this is the perfect summer beverage. Sweet and soothing. For those of us that love our hot cocoa, but don’t want to sweat the heat. =)

? frozen hot cocoa packet or powder of choice
? milk (soy, almond, rice, etc)
? ice cubes
? blender

1. Put approximately 1 cup of ice cubes into blender.
2. Pour in approx. 1 cup milk (so that the milk just covers the ice cubes)
3. Add hot cocoa packet or powder (one packet or enough for one drink)
4. Blend to perfection!

YUM!

    This was so good!

We stocked up on hot chocolate mix when it was on sale for $1, but now we might run out because I’m going to be making these a lot this summer!

    Thanks for the recipe!

This looks so good!! I might just have to pick up the ingredients tomorrow – although I can just imagine 4L of milk vaporizing out of our apartment at lightning speed!

I’m also a big fan of iced chais in the summer – I usually just make mine with that tetrapack of chai mix you can buy at the store. Yum!
