Homemade Twenty-Five

Yesterday was a great way to start the new year for me. While quite the opposite of last year’s social gathering, it was something spectacular all on its own. It was a homemade birthday, in every way. I wore my new homemade (but not by me) birthday dress and Tom and I baked our first homemade pizza and Tom made me his very first batch of homemade mini muffins, peach to be exact. (They were DELICIOUS. With REAL peach chunks inside. I believe the Mr. outdid himself!) I forgot to tell him what to add to replace the eggs in the recipe he picked, so they didn’t rise, but when he brought it out to me with it’s little candle I almost cried it was so cute.

Poor Pumpkin doesn’t seem to like the birthday candle smoke, haha.

The Mr. and I curled up with our homemade delights and enjoyed a fire and some relaxing (relaxing, HA) time shooting zombies in Left For Dead 2.

And warmest thank yous to everyone who wished me a happy birthday by Facebook, email, Twitter or Flickr. They were absolutely a delight to read through, making my day even brighter.

Love you all!
