A Post of Afterthoughts in a Sea of Parenthesis

This is my new desktop wallpaper. It kind of gives me the chills (in a good way) every time I minimize my things. I don’t know why I haven’t used my photographs, specifically those of Tom, as my wallpaper until now. I’ve had a NASA photo on there for ages. I like rotating on occasion.

And now for some extremely over-due photos that I swore I posted already but then realized didn’t! We went to Bronwyn’s for the fourth of July and the three of us took more photos. =)

At one point there were a totally of four dragon flies on my dress. I was quite giddy with laughter and warm fuzzies. I stood around for a while waiting for more to come back so we could take photos, and lots did, but we were never fast enough. In the end we got one.

I: saw a huge spider with a sack on it’s back (photo 3), wrecked my three year old shoes, (I was getting ready to let them go anyway- two weeks later and they’re still soaking. Not worth saving, I don’t think.) found a new flavor of Arizona green tea that I like, really enjoyed getting to know Brendan better, took lots of photos, am learning to be okay with having my photo taken, (hypocrite, I know, now get that camera out of my face) have lots of photos of Tom and I to print out, and overall had a blast (as usual).

We: went looking for malformed leeches, were attacked by black flies, found a cutoff hoof of a horse or donkey, enjoyed exploring the local small town near B’s (reminded me of our town in Michigan), found a nice pizza place (thank you, Daniel), devoured pie, played the wii, and again stayed up talking until one in the morning.

And I guess now is a perfect time to announce that Bronwyn will be accompanying Tom and me on our trip to Michigan in roughly two weeks. (Only two weeks now, YES.) Being the music lover she is, (no really) she’s already planned playlists (two that I know of) and we’re already talking about what we’ll do while we’re there, and Tom and I are talking about what places to show her. Bronwyn and I are discussing how on earth we’re going to be able to handle our photo taking situation. Perhaps I shall buy another 8gb memory stick? Or TWO? I really don’t want to bring my laptop, so I think buying a few more sticks is the way to go.

Wow, this entry is full of afterthoughts in a sea of parenthesis.
(Sorry about that.)
