2011Chilly Day Cafe

On the weekend Tom and I usually visit with Tom’s father (whom I also call dad) and we meet for tea at Jim’s favorite café. Though this weekend we were chilled to the bone as we entered, and instead of the usual round of cold drinks (like bubble tea), we all wrapped our fingers around the warmth of steamed delights. I chose mulled apple cider.
It’s unusual for me to post on a Sunday, but our internet went down on Thursday and stayed that way until yesterday evening. (Some of you may have seen me tweeting about it!) Since I was unable to post the two posts I had planned this week, instead of just posting one of them today I thought I would share a moment of my weekend away from the computer with you instead.

All of these warm drinks look so delicious! I’d love to make a homemade mulled cider this winter. It’s on my list.
Great post! Thanks for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving!
Cheers,
Christi

I can’t seem to get my comments to go through, but it’s okay because I’m usually way too long winded anyway. Here’s the short version of what I was trying to say:
CIDER = YAY
NO INTERNET = BOO with a side of “It’s nice to get away from all the hub bub once in awhile!”
