2009Summer Walk
I went for a walk yesterday and took photos. It was so sunny and breezy and it felt a little bit like heaven. I felt a little uncomfortable out photographing people’s gardens and so I didn’t get to take my time with the flowers, it was more of a snap and run. I would’ve felt more comfortable at B’s. There was this one tree (the first picture in the gallery) that I just absolutely adored. It was covered in bees. If I had thought enough I head I would have brought my video camera (if I had a 500D this wouldn’t be a problem) and I’d film a little bit of it. I put the camera down for a while and just listened to the hum.

These really are such beautiful photos! It’s cool and wintry here right now (I’m in Australia) so there aren’t a great deal of flowers to take photos of. I’ve often wanted to take photos of other peoples gardens, but I’m too chicken

The ninth one (go figure, right?), with the sunlight showing through is my favorite, though they are all lovely! And that gallery bit is SO cool. Makes me consider going back to my own domain. : x

I feel strange photographing other people’s gardens too.
These are SO beautiful! My goodness! The third and fourth from the right is blooming in our garden in Toronto as are the periwinkle. The one you’ve featured, the magnolia, is soon to be planted down at the pond at the farm. I hope you plan on sticking around for years to come as when that starts blooming, oooo the photo opportunities.
We should figure out how to get you guys here. There are some incredible flowers and magnolia trees in a two block radius.

I was of the mind to walk to your house (the farm) yesterday but I got about an hour out and realized it would be too far. (I’m pretty sure I would have easily found myself lost.)
