2010Tea Time With Cherry Scones

Tea Time Tuesday! (Yes, I just made that up, but that’s apparently the blogger thing to do! And everyone’s heard of Music Mondays, Caturday, and Follow Fridays! So, you know, I thought long and hard on this. Okay, I didn’t really, I just made it up right now. But don’t tell anyone!) Scones are something I haven’t tried on my own yet. I can make some killer biscuits, if I do say so myself, but scones is an art I’d like to perfect a bit more. So Tom and I picked up some all natural, egg free mix on sale, and BOY this mix was DELICIOUS! It’s from Sticky Fingers Bakeries, but I can see where they got your name. I had to pry my fingers apart after balling up the dough! I am also interested in sampling the holiday flavors. Like the eggnog and pumpkin. Egads! It’s making my mouth water just thinking about it.

I’ve been getting a bit obsessed with making scones lately, I can’t get enough of them! And can you share the pumpkin scone recipe with the rest of us too – they sound fab!

I haven’t had a GOOD scone in a long time! These sound positively scrummy, though – and the packaging is pretty classy, too.

Where did you get the scone mix? Looks amazing! I have a fantastic recipe for pumpkin scones that I can share if you’re interested – it does involve actually having to do everything from scratch though!

We got the mix at a store here called “Winners”. I would LOVE a pumpkin scone recipe if you’re willing to share! I will make some tomorrow afternoon if I can! I have pumpkin puree in the fridge. =D
