Our Family Halloween

As I mentioned, Tom and I arrived home just in time for Halloween, but had no plans and no costumes. (The cats did though because they were feeling festive.) Around three in the afternoon, after whining and whining, I decided I’d just throw on some ridiculous eye make up and wing it, (I ended up as the Aurora Borealis) and Tom was Michael Scott. (I should have been Pam!) We went over to Jim’s to hand out candy to the kids, since we can’t in our apartment, and had a blast. The costumes on some of the children are really creative and adorable. My favorite had to be a girl who dressed up in a black suit and a red vest and a fedora. I asked her if she was Michael Jackson, and she said she was supposed to be a normal secret agent but her mom wanted her to be flashy so she’d be seen in the dark. Really, really cute kids.

So, I’m back. Missing Ireland but glad to be in my warm home again. I have so much to share from the trip (and the wedding!) so rest assured November will be a busy busy posting month!

I will be catching up on any fellow bloggers and their blogs this week, so please forgive me if I’ve missed anything. I hope everyone had a happy Halloween!
