This is currently my favorite outfit.
The light kind of makes my nose and lips look weird here. But I kinda like it.
I really wish the Victorian era was in style. I love the Edwardian Era, and the Victorian/Wild Wild West blend. They don’t have this exact style or color, but I recommend Clockwork Couture for your Victorian era cravings. They offer strictly animal friendly products only.
I’ve been playing the guitar a lot recently, mostly because I’m trying to decide between purchasing a ukulele or another classical guitar.
I am small and my hands are small and so sometimes it can be a bit daunting to pull out the big guy. I left three guitars behind in my move, one of which was a cheap $30 classical, and I played it a lot when I had it. Unfortunately a few years back the bridge broke and when I tried fixing it with glue (I know, I know) the sound just wasn’t the same. (Obviously.)
I know I would enjoy a classical, it’s a for sure win in this situation, but I think the ukulele might be an interesting way to go.
However, if I were to purchase a ukulele, I’m leaning towards either a Kala KA-T for those of you familiar with brands, and I’d be up for any suggestions as I’ve never laid hands on these.
So, for those of you that play (guitar or uke)- I’d appreciate any advice?
Sometimes I wake up missing a sock, assuming I even sleep with socks at all.
Since giving away my cellphone, I’ve realized how much I utlized the phonebook inside. Trying to remember someone’s phone number or address while standing in line at the post just wasn’t cutting it. So I added the contacts feature on my iPod. Originally for this photo I was showing off photographer and friend Diana Ramos, but I figured she might not want her address displayed for all of the www to see.
A new season of the "Life According to Us" project started up recently. I’m amazed it’s been going for almost three years now.

24 Feb 2010 at 2:22 amI’ve only ever learned (very minimal) guitar (and I’m sure my hands are even smaller than yours! Chris has a nylon string guitar that I LOVE but the neck is even wider than most regular guitars and it kills my wrists after just a few minutes) ANYWAY! In my honest opinion, a ukulele is like the fisheye lens of the guitar world. It’s cute and unique, but also a total novelty that wears off super fast. Or maybe ukes just aren’t my thing!

I, too, have very small hands and playing the guitar is very tricky for me. I purchased a
very cheapukulele off of eBay and it is perfect for me, and I have been able to pick it up very fast. I say go with a uke, personally 🙂Morgan

18 Feb 2010 at 10:17 pmI’ve been waiting for your email, but I know you’re a busy girl.
Seeing pictures of you makes me wish we had more time together. I (sorta) miss high school, because of all the time we spent together. (Actually I just miss you. :p)
I look forward to your updates. I’m glad life is so wonderful, and beautiful at that!
