Goodbye Miss, Hello Mrs.

As I Race To Catch You Up In My 365

Okay, so these photos are two weeks old or something like that, but I have to catch you up or we’ll forever be behind! (And by we, I mean me, sorry.)

Goodbye Miss, Hello Mrs.
Days two thirty two – two thirty nine

This is actually the absolute wrong way to put on a swimming cap (you keep your hands in an arch and not straight up) but it looks a lot more interesting this way photographically speaking!

Tom and I were both swimmers growing up, but by the time we got together we’d both already stopped. (Though we often talked about how it remained our favorite form of exercise.) So we found a pool close to our house and went and did laps! We loved it so much we ended up getting a pass and have since gone every single day (sometimes even twice a day), except for the days when Kat and Will came to visit. It’s love.

(PS: Here’s how to put on a cap, in case you are interested.)

Excuse grumpy cat face and batty Sara face. Sometimes when Morn is sleeping I pick him up and shake him around a bit.

Okay, really bad photo but for some reason I really, really like it.

Food is such a major part of my life. Seriously.

Laundry day, in my awesome Traverse City boy’s tee shirt. Excuse the mid drift. Hey, if I’d been able to find a regular girl sized tee, I wouldn’t have had to resort to emotionally snapping and buying a little boy’s tourist tee the day before I moved. Seriously, it’s a tourist town, why couldn’t I find a good tee? ANYWAY.

Stockings. Again. Do you doubt I’m an old lady in a twenty-something body? Next you know I’ll be pulling a Mrs. Doubtfire with my stockings falling down on the bus.

Um. ODD?

You saw this one already, I know. Pitter patter. It’s been raining a lot.

I hope you guys have a fantastic weekend and a happy Father’s day to all you dad’s out there. I’ve been working on a few projects lately that are taking up a lot of time that hopefully I’ll be able to share with you soon!

Cheers!

As a swimmer I personally find the best way to put on a cap is to get in the pool, turn the cap inside out and fill it with water. Then pull it down over your head, turning it right side out as you go. Works like a charm! 😀

I don’t know what it is, but every once in awhile I take a “bad” picture that I end up LOVING, too. Sometimes perfection isn’t what’s necessary.
