A few weeks ago I had a mini Flickr meet up with Torontonians Julie & Kyrsta. We took a lesireuly four hour photo walk in Toronto’s High Park and after stopped at a nearby cafe for some fabulously refreshing (and much needed) fresh iced raspberry green tea lemonade. It great meeting these two ladies in such a nice kick-off to summer, and there was even talk of perhaps starting a local mini photo-club! I can’t wait until our next meet up. Also, I’ve started a new special photo series on the blog called Light In The Wood– because I just can’t get enough of light trickling through leaves and trees.

10 Jun 2012 at 12:22 pmThank you, Vickie! And I agree- I get excited about going into wooded areas to see if there are new ways I can capture light on the trees. There are still some shots that elude me- and I’m determined to figure out how to capture them through my lens.

8 Jun 2012 at 2:41 pmBeautiful photos! Love the idea of a “light in the wood” series. Just seeing these pictures makes me feel like I’m outside on a beautiful day; very necessary when you’re at a computer on a Friday afternoon.
