Allow me to just say right now that those Vegetable Straws are unbelievably delicious. We don’t usually have chips or whatever in the house but we’re totally going to grab these next time we’re at the store. I mean, “each straw is made from real potatoes, tomatoes, and spinach so they are the perfect snack for one name Sara Paige”. No really, the package says that. Okay, well, it should. After moving all day Bronwyn’s mom dropped off some grocery store goodies for us to eat devour before our drive home. Vegetable sushi from the grocery store never tasted so good.

5 May 2011 at 9:00 amBronny is so gorgeous! That food is making me drool. I’m having a party tomorrow and this is the first time I’ve ever made a proper vegetarian main – spinach and veggie slice. Hopefully it will taste as good as it looks. (I’m a bit more nervous about my vegan/dairy free/gluten free dish which I’m tackling tomorrow before the guests arrive!!!)

5 May 2011 at 10:02 amDon’t be nervous, it’s way easier than it seems! What dish are you making? We made our first vegan dish last year for Thanksgiving to bring over and we were so nervous but it ended up being DELICIOUS. I’ll be sending lovely thoughts your way!!

4 May 2011 at 1:09 pmOkay, I don’t know what idea I like more: veggie sushi or the raspberries in the salad! Mmmm… raspberries (I think I’m desperate for some rich, ripe summer fruit! 🙂

5 May 2011 at 11:18 amAgreed! I love fresh fruit, especially in salad. And on cereal. And by itself. Well, I guess I just love fruit. =P

4 May 2011 at 12:40 pmThose veggie sticks are totally a staple at any family picnic or bbq Chris’s mom throws! They’re super tasty, but much like real fries I find myself mindlessly nomming away at them, long after I’m full!
