The Anniversary Project

The Final Digest (Sort Of)

I hope this is a project that Tom and I can do at least once a year, but I’m not sure that October of every year is the best month, since a lot of our photos ended up being in our coats. But there’s special we both love about autumn, and of course it wouldn’t be an anniversary project if we didn’t do it in October. I know I’ve said this before, but I can’t wait to have this in book format for my desk and coffee table.

Also, I mentioned this on Facebook, but this second photo in here is a direct tribute to Alyssa and Genevieve, who both did some adorable “couple” photos in the same style as the anniversary project. If you haven’t seen them yet, you can see Alyssa’s here, and Genevieve’s here.

I hope you enjoy the final digest of our project, and stay tuned next week for some blooper photos we plan on tacking in to the back of the book. (The last photo is a duplicate but I couldn’t resist including it!)

This photo series is so lovely! You guys are adorable and talented photographers. I’d love to hear more about the photography process you used, if you’re open to sharing that – did you collaboratively decide on the look/feel of each photo set & then match exposure settings? Everything is so well matched!

I’ve never seen Tom with facial hair–I like it! He kind of reminds me of Ethan Hawke in some of these.

I like that you did this in the fall because you two look so beautiful among the orange leaves! We don’t have proper autumn here (Genevieve and I searched desperately for gold and orange trees but could only find a few yellowing leaves), so I like seeing yours! I dind’t notice you were having to wear your coats in a lot of the photos–I think you did a great job having variety in each one!

I avoid facial hair at all costs, since I feel that it makes me look like a bum, (Especially when my hair gets longer and unkempt like it was in a lot of these photos.) but I am growing it out for ‘Movember’ .

If you haven’t heard of it, it’s made for men to grow out their mustache (Thus, ‘Movember’) in order to raise awareness for men’s health issues.

Anyway, I thought I would also mention that I loved the photos you and Genevieve took mimicking our project!
