Sara and I went on a train ride for our anniversary early last month, but I never got to share my photos of that day with you.
Partly that’s because no one wants to see two posts of the same thing in the same week, and partly that was because there were so many other things to take photos of in the interim that I just never got around to it.
That said, I’m sure that the clever among you have already guessed what these photos are going to be of. A lion riding a horse! Pictures of our train ride!

And I also must admit that I am jealous of your train ride! My better half and I have wanted to take one for a long time.

2 Nov 2012 at 10:51 pmHullo Tom! I have been an unsaid follower, but I thought I might comment on one of your lovely photos that caught my attention, and that would be the one that you captured of your fellow passengers looking out of their window. For some reason, having a picture split with stillness and motion always interests me and I attempt to capture it myself. I also like how you caught some of their thought by a candid shot of their expressions, which is the photography I always enjoy. Lovely lighting too, I must say. Well really all of the pictures are very cool, but I thought I might leave a ginormous comment in favor of that one shot. So there you have it! 🙂

8 Nov 2012 at 12:06 pmThank you so much for your comment! =)
It wasn’t something I took on purpose actually, but when I was sorting through the photos after we got home it caught my eye as well. It’s a really, really neat effect that I think I would love to try and take intentionally in the future.
It’s always really fantastic to get feedback from those who view your photos, so thanks again, I really appreciate it!
