Dinner at the CN Tower

A few nights ago Tom’s boss took us out for dinner at Restaurant 360, located at the top of the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. It was the first time I’d ever been to the CN Tower, and I must say it was incredible! Being that it’s now winter here it was already dark by the time we arrived, but I honestly think I preferred that for my first visit. The restaurant is about 1,800 ft in the air and it slowly rotates so you get an entire view of Toronto while you dine. We went around four times during the course of our stay, I think. It was amazing! They had an entire vegetarian menu (with easily made vegan items) and the food was delicious. (Also, it was a business dinner with Tom’s boss and his boss’s boss from over seas, so I didn’t take any photos of the food, but it was painful not to! It all looked (and tasted) so good!) Now, I didn’t have a tripod so these aren’t the greatest photos, but I wanted to share my experience with you nonetheless. (Psst, if you click on the photos the larger versions will pop up.)

Such gorgeous photos! *_* Dallas has a very similar restaurant in the downtown area. It’s at the top of what looks like a giant discoball building, and it also rotates! Everything looks so classy~ Sad that you weren’t able to get any photos of the food, but it was probably the right choice.) 😉

Thanks, Kaki! I’m actually embarrassed to admit I’ve been here for three years and this was my first time! Everyone else was whipping out their cameras to photograph the view so I figured that was a safe bet. WHEN I visit Dallas we shall have to take a trip to the tower (at least for the view!)

Awesome! I love the photos! The Space Needle here in Seattle has the same kind of set-up! 🙂

Man, it’s been a long time since I visited the CN tower—last time it was for a swing dance event, to dance in the sky! Alas, I have never eaten there—I imagine it was tres pricey. Lucky girl!

Gorgeous! I’m not a city girl at all, but I love visiting. Maybe I’ll add Toronto to my list of must-sees. 🙂

My boyfriend took me here for our first date and it was cloudy/foggy for the entire day until we got to the top and it all magically cleared away just in time to see how beautiful the view is. I like to think it was a metaphor for our relationship bc we were friends for years before that night, haha 🙂 We had our first kiss on the viewing deck!

How sweet and romantic, Meagan! Tom and I were friends for years before we were romantic as well. It’s definitely the best foundation! =)
