Goodbye Miss, Hello Mrs.
days two sixteen – two twenty three

So I’ve been so busy writing about birthdays and camera tutorials that I’ve neglected to keep up with the digests of my 365 project! So here we are, and I apologize for the photos that you’ve already seen. I’ve decided next time photos might potentially over lap that I will take separate photos for the portrait project. This project has mostly been photos of my hands, or things in my hands, and not really portraits at all. When I think about this, I feel disappointed and am almost overwhelmed with a sense of failure. But I can’t imagine taking a “true portrait” of myself every day and I am simply amazed that I’ve been able to actually take a photo of myself, a body part, etc, every day for over two hundred days in a row. When I think of it this way, I feel quite accomplished.

My grandmother sent the most recent tour guide (March of this year!) book for Ireland to Tom and I and I’ve been tagging certain pages that catch my fancy. I try not to get too excited about plans so far in the future in case they don’t work out, but I can’t help that my daydreaming of Ireland gets a little out of control sometimes.

Of course, this week was the week I made the camera charm for Bronwyn’s birthday, which you knew already, but I also attached a flickr pro account code to this birdie here as a gift.

Ahem errhhhrr aiiooofffffttt pprprgggg. <-- This is pretty much what comes out of my mouth every time I look over and see this beast on my desk.

Whenever people take photos of my hairstyles it’s always after I’ve been walking around for a while or I’ve been doing something ridiculous like jumping jacks (okay, so that’s exaggerating a little) and I’m always embarrassed because wisps are hanging out and it’s all over the place. IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER RIGHT AWAY. But, alas, that’s the nature of things, I suppose.

I wouldn’t mind having some of this right now, in fact. I wonder if there are any recipes out there for making Mochi at home? Probably… Oh, Google! Might I have a word with you?
