A while back I was looking through my mum and dad’s photo albums and found photos from their baby shower for me. I remember seeing particular things I recognized, like my very first teddy (which was actually a classic Pooh that wound up and played the Winnie The Pooh theme) and my matching Winnie the Pooh 100 Acre Wood map blanket, my very first baby blanket (which I still have to this day). These were very important memories for me, and even more important was that I had a chance to see my parents preparing for little me, and obviously that’s something that only happens once. So when I had the chance to capture Sam’s baby shower this past weekend- I tried my hardest to make sure I got the details that her daughter might find in a photo album some day, like I did, and cherish all the same. Hopefully these photos will tell her the story of her special day, about just how happy everyone was to meet her and welcome her into the world. Congratulations, Samantha.
