I joke sometimes that I’m bringing back the family photographer. (Back in the 1900s (and even earlier!)- a photographer would follow a family through the generations. They’d be there for marriages, babies, family photos, all the way until the end.) I love that I watched (and photographed) Megan & Mike exchanging their vows, and that I was able to photograph Megan’s beautiful belly when they realized their family was increasing by one, and now that I’m able to say hello to their daughter Lauren and photograph her tiny hands and toes. Welcome to the world, baby Lauren. May you be as bubbly and warm as your mum and as steady and strong as you father.
