Well, I figured I’d try something new today! I know this is a photoblog but I’ve been meaning to go back to the days when I used to make home movies. These are just clips I took from yesterday, which is a start. And, of course, I can’t go a post without at least ONE photo. Have a great weekend everyone, and happy Mother’s day to all my mommy (and soon to be mommy) readers.

19 May 2011 at 3:38 pmI’m not normally a cat person, but I think you’re converting me. Haha, you’re kitties are just hilarious! Every cat I’ve encountered in my huge family is mean and fat. Tell me where I can get awesome cats like yours and it’s a done deal. : )

9 May 2011 at 8:48 pmIt’s cute the way they squish into their bed and make up a pretty shade of orange. Thank you for taking these video clips and sharing them with us. When I saw the video, I noticed that the tip of Pumpkin’s tail is a bit pointed than Morn’s. It’s interesting to notice small details like that in a video than a photo. Looks like they enjoyed their Caturday. 🙂

8 May 2011 at 8:04 pmYour kitties are so quiet! I guess I am just used to a very vocal cat, especially at play time. Leonardo and Joseph make so much noise when they wrestle.
The last video makes me want another cat for Leo to play with!

8 May 2011 at 12:29 pmI have been waiting for this moment FOREVER – or maybe just since you upgraded to a hybrid camera. 😉
What are movies, anyway, besides moving pictures? Never mind the fact that this is your blog and you should be able to post whatever you want on it, movies are definitely within the reach of a photography blog. Also, I just bought an Olympus Pen and am super stoked to shoot movies with it, so you can expect to see some solidarity on my blog soon, too. 🙂

7 May 2011 at 9:36 pmOmfg. The king has lost so much weight! Is it just the camera angle or has his belly tightened as well?
Give both the kitties extra snuggles from me. And put dumbo on your head.

8 May 2011 at 11:15 amIf you can believe it, the camera adds ten lbs. Okay, maybe not ten but he looks trimmer off camera! He is extremely happy now, we can’t believe the transformation. He is a hundred times more affectionate (almost more so than Pumpkin sometimes) and needs to be near people 24/7. He plays more and you know how he used to chase you around the house and play? Well he can do that for ten minutes straight now!

7 May 2011 at 1:43 pmAww, I love this! We see Pumpkin and Morn in photographs all the time but seeing them in video makes them seem… more real! You can see their personalities…

8 May 2011 at 11:15 amI will try to post more video in general (but of the kitties too) because they really are ridiculous and I think it would be fun to share their quirks and personalities. =)

7 May 2011 at 1:32 pmThe last video remind me of the way my dogs play, but more sophisticated and definitely quieter! LOL

8 May 2011 at 11:16 amHaha, they are usually very quiet when they play! Sometimes I don’t even know they’re messing around until they bump into something!
