Today we’re heading into Milton to visit Tom’s mum for a little belated birthday celebration, which is exciting, but I’m sad to report all the snow here has already melted. It was beautiful while it lasted and I am happy it was here for my birthday, but I am a little saddened to think it might be over already. Last week was a wonderful way to start the new year: a birthday, a visit to see real dinosaur bones, a first run in with henna, trying an incredible vegan Alfredo for the first time, and I think I finally learned how to properly apply blush. All in all, I’d consider it a successful week.

13 Jan 2013 at 3:21 pmYour hair looks great! Did you match your previous shade with the henna?
Also if you’re looking for a good vegan “cream” sauce, pesto and avocado make my favorite Alfredo substitute 🙂
