Goodbye Miss, Hello Mrs.

The One With The Stupid Swine Flu

Despite being dreadfully sick for about a week now, the 365 has continued.

days thirty three through forty

It hit me the 9th, and then came a heavy fever for the next three days, extreme muscle aches, dry cough, runny nose, and I’m sure you don’t need any extra info.

Little did I know… I’d be stuck in these clothes for the next four days.

I hate this stuff. I don’t understand why people drink stuff that makes their mouth pucker like this.

Mmm, oatmeal. At this point I was wondering if I could still taste anything at all.

Tom’s mom brought over homemade sickie soup, veggie stew, Irish soda bread, artisan bread (already sliced), fresh fruit, and a sick tray.

I spent a good hour in the tub trying to loosen the rat’s nest that was my hair and then another hour outside trying to comb it. A week of being sick really did a number on my head. I decided after that adventure that any time sickness happened, hair would immediately go into braids.

The last of the 946 ml pure cranberry juice from concentrate.
Diluted that means I drank I don’t want to know how many glasses.

    Cranberry juice is the BEST!

Also, I’m really glad to hear you’re feeling better. Or, at least well enough to update us all 🙂

You drank a whole liter?! God! That’s a true punishment. I’m so happy I can comment, usually I can’t get this site to load. 🙁 Also, you’re demonstrating true dedication by keeping up with the 365 even when sick. …and Brendan just caught me writing here and not my paper.

Ugh, how awful. I hope you are feeling better now.

I love cranberry juice. I like most things that might make my mouth pucker like that!

Cranberry Juice is a wonder though. We’re getting over the sick here as well. And, Oh I know about the rats nest hair!
