Tom and I have been entertaining the idea of moving from our apartment to a smaller one. I am the type of person that will fill up a space if you give it to me, finding things to put there even if I don’t need them. It doesn’t logical to move into a smaller space when we’d be paying the same to lose our dishwasher, fireplace, and limit the cats to a smaller kingdom- but the desire still lingers, and I’m curious to know why.
Tom and I take walks around the lake nearby on occasion, so I thought I’d share some photos from our most recent adventure there.

10 Mar 2013 at 9:47 pmYou seem live so close to a woodsy wonderland for living in the city! Really magical photos 🙂
Downsizing definitely has it’s downsides, but you should explore it more if you’re so drawn to the idea! I think our hearts tell us these things for a reason, and not always ones we expect.

8 Mar 2013 at 11:35 amLooks like a beautiful walk! I love the picture of the path through the trees, and the little splash of orange from the remaining leaves. 🙂
My boyfriend and I live in quite a big house at the moment, but when we move (either this year or next) then it will almost certainly be to somewhere smaller, and I’m worried about how our cats (both indoor) will take to suddenly having less space. Still, we used to live in a little apartment (before getting the cats), and it definitely felt cosier.

7 Mar 2013 at 8:07 pmGosh, what a winter wonderland! I can understand the desire for a smaller space: means less clutter. I also think it forces you to embrace life outside the home more too.

7 Mar 2013 at 1:47 pmGive me your snow! We got jipped AGAIN out of several inches from a storm that passed yesterday. We got NADA. Ugh.
Love all the snowy-ness in your photos.
So if it was possible, you could totally take my apartment and I’ll take yours. Yours is a frickin’ palace compared to mine!

7 Mar 2013 at 1:24 pmSo beautiful! But just looking at the photos is making me cold. I think I’m acclimating to Texas weather a bit too much 😉
