13 Days in Michigan (Day Four)

The first was actually really busy, but I barely took any photos. It will actually be a short entry! It was Tom’s birthday, and we started it by going to The Omelette Shoppe for breakfast, and then we went browsing. We went to Best Buy, I fiddled with the T1i and the Nikon 5000D, Tom looked at the games and blu ray disks. Afterward Best Buy we went to Border’s and wound up reading at a table. I ended up purchasing two new Asian cook books, which I am very pleased with, and then we met Kara and Riley for dinner at Schelde’s. The food (aside from the soup) and service was absolutely atrocious. I was especially disappointed. But it was a fun conversation, and it was fun to have the six of us (Kara, Riley, Bronwyn, Kat, Tom and I) squeezed into a booth. We were able to see the fireworks over one of the cherry tree fields and we watched those for a while before heading home. Lots of sleeping ensued.

It was a LOT of fun! 🙂 Was this the night Kara and I had too much sugar? Honestly I haven’t laughed that hard in ages. Obviously I need to write this down so I don’t forget.
