Shooting Hannah Johnson

I think the first thing I noticed about Hannah (aside from her amazing hair, obviously) was how funny she is. (Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get away with a post title like this.) I mean, if you read her work as a writer and beauty guru with Flare Magazine, xoVain, xoJane, or her blog, you know she’s sassy and quite a bit fun- but I guess when it’s the written word, and especially an article or blog post, you assume the writer’s had time to think of all those puns and maybe he or she is not so on-the-cuff with humor in real life. But that’s not the case for Hannah. I spent more time laughing than shooting. (Okay, maybe an exaggeration- I worked, really. I’m a professional, I swear.)

She celebrated a birthday this week, so I thought I’d share some moments from our time together earlier this summer when I had the pleasure of taking some headshots for her. If you haven’t checked her out already- you should!
