For blog post, “Ways to Recycle Your Used Coffee Grounds”
I was looking through my 365 collection the other day and realized that 67 days into my portrait project and all I had were croppies (you know, forehead to chin, etc). So I said I would take a real portrait, mostly to show myself that I still could.
On day 69 I said, “I’ve had enough!” I was so sick of taking pictures of various body parts in different angles and trying to be creative every day. More importantly I was sick of seeing my face all over my stream. I missed photographing food and other aspects of my life instead of just me. This project is proving to be more intense than I thought. I feel like I seventeen year old girl who just got her first DSLR.
I think this is natural though. The last two attempts I made at a 365 I failed in the three month/four month bracket. I didn’t even last half way. Well don’t worry, I’m still going. I’m just voicing my frustration.
Oh boy. I’ve been doing my running, my squats, walking lunges, push ups and crunchers. Go, go, go. I am. SO. SORE.
Day 71 marked a special day for me. I officially sold and shipped my first print!! It is an 8×10 shot of “The Kiss”. I’m hoping to put up my print shop soon so I can send postcards and other goodies with my/your/our favorite shots!
Day 72 I tried my hand at homemade eggnog pancakes. I thought, I like eggnog. I like pancakes. Why not? They were a FIVE STAR success, one I will revisit tomorrow morning.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

I LOVE ‘The Kiss’ photo. I always thought it was beautiful.
The new website is really cool. I’m just working my way around it now… my technical handling side of my brain is switched off tonight 🙂
